Self-control
The way I spend money is frightening. Let’s take an assessment of the past two weeks, since classes ended May 11.
Earnings:
*Work +30 (I did get some free food out of this job.)
*Selling textbooks +120 (Amazon steals so much, otherwise this would be +170.)
*Misc. +50 (to be received, not yet in the pocket)
Spendings:
*Food -50 (Dining halls closed, but honestly, I had no meals left anyway.)
*Haircut -50 (But I hadn’t gotten one for 5 months!)
*Furniture -100 (Arguably necessary?)
*LSAT books -125 (Arguably necessary?)
*Bartending class -200 (…I admit this one was totally unnecessary.)
GRAND TOTAL: -325
This doesn’t include the rent paid for June, nor the grant money I will receive in June. Still, this is scary shit. I’m glad I’ve skipped out on the past three movies, five eat-outs, two shopping trips, paintballing, and who knows what else…
